What do you hope to gain from mentoring a FLI student?
Rules and Procedures By agreeing to sign up as a mentor for the Future Leaders Institute, you are acknowleding and agreeing to abide by the following rules and procedures as laid out by the organization: To provide an email address that is checked regularly for students to contact you. To meet a student at an agreed upon time and date for an in-person interview not to exceed 1 hour at some point in November or December of the Program Year. To meet students only under the supervision of a FLI Guide (teacher or facilitator at the school site) and under no circumstances to meet with students without supervision or consent from the Future Leaders Institute. To provide ongoing encouragement and support for students as they create their projets and engage with their community. To allow FLI to maintain a profile on Ning.com with a photograph and relevant professional information to be accessible to FLI students and staff. To reply to emails and other communication from FLI staff and students in a timely manner.
