My Mission Statement - December
One of the most challenging parts of the FLI Program is taking all of your exciting and innovative ideas and turning them into practical steps that you can go out and accomplish. A mission statement helps bridge that gap. Click here to learn more and see examples.
Project Planning - January / February
The key to any successful FLI project is effective planning. Students must submit their project plans to FLI for review and approval by February 19th, 2010. A link for project registration will be available beginning in January.
Another key component of project planning is writing your budget. Each FLI student is awarded a $150.00 grant to help make their project happen. In order to receive their grant, each student must work collaboratively with their team and submit a Team Budget Form. Once approved, funding will be issued. The deadline for Team Budget Form submissions is May 7th, 2010.
If a FLI Guide is in need of funding in advance of FLI Team Budget Submission or is in need of additional funds once the budget has been submitted, then a Request for Check Form can be submitted as well. This form may only be used by FLI Guides & Staff.
